Single Cell Orchestra

San Francisco musician par excellence, Miguel Fierro, is the internationally acclaimed and acknowledged artist otherwise known as Single Cell Orchestra. His releases for Astralwerks, Asphodel, and Spacetime Continuum’s own Reflective have put him on a very small list of highly acclaimed American electronic music pioneers.

Single Cell Orchestra has recently teamed up with Bass Kittens to do a bunch of singles, the first releasing on Eyephunk Recordings and then two on Si Beggs’ Noodles Discotech. Cyberset provides an outlet for Miguels full range of production material, including his Celldom series of albums.

Single Cell Orchestra comes back with an album that will please older fans and inspire a whole new generation. This album is the first in a new “Celldom” series that highlights SCO’s production styles and influences, combining chill soundscapes with heavy use of synth pads that SCO is so well known for, as well as adding the sound that he has brought to Electro and Breaks in the past few years with his releases on Si Begg’s Noodles Discoteque, Pretension Recordings, Spacebar Sentiments and Eyephunk Recordings.

The second release in Single Cell Orchestra`s “Celldom” series dives deeply into true ambiance, sound design and atmosheric soundscapes.

Arc also includes a beatless mix of two of the most popular tracks on celldom:v1:opt, namely “Explore Your Mind” & “Lullabuy”. In fact most of this album is beatless and full of movement created by evolving sound-scapes instead of beats.
