Artists for Amazonia

Thurs. May 28, 5 p.m Pacific Time

A global livestream event that benefits the Amazon Emergency Fund, an indigenous-led effort providing rapid response grants in that region to address the pandemic, is set for Thurs., May 28 starting at 5 p.m. Pacific Time.

Part of Earthdance Global’s mission is to protect the environment. This project is an awareness campaign to enlighten the world about what is going on in The Amazon. As we know the Amazon is “The Lungs of The Planet.” The Amazon is under siege by the big corporations as well as the Brazilian Government. The indigenous peoples

of The Amazon have been doing their best to protect the Forests. These are very poor people with little or no medical aid or facilities. COVID is now devastating these tribes and they have no means to protect themselves.

The Amazon Emergency Fund is organized by a large group of non-profit organizations that have all been focussed on protecting the Amazon for many years. This coalition is led by Sting’s rain forest organization who is administering the project.

This program has assembled a formidable group of activists, celebrities, and world leaders who are coming together to bring light on this very dangerous situation. Some of these folks include Jane Fonda, Barbara Streisand, Jeff Bridges, Morgan Freeman, Sting, Carlos Santana, Herbie Hancock, Wade Davis, and many more.

The two-hour event will be hosted by Game of Thrones co-star Oona Chaplin. The event will be available via Facebook and through the event website. It will also be streamed on Earthdance Global website.

Earthdance is collaborating to help promote: “BicycleDay.TV” May 31. The virtual festival celebrates all that is psychedelic and the culture that was sparked by the Good Doctor Albert Hofmann. More information to be announced soon. Go to for more information.
